My baby is 4!!!!

OMG, I cannot believe how quickly the time has gone and that Connor is now 4. He is completely addicted to Dr Who and got cybermen, daleks galore!! We took him to Edinburgh Zoo for the day and had a fab time and he lovedit, thankfully the weather satyed nice for us and the sun even came out at some points. We took the Hilltop Safari to the top of the zoo and worked our way down, getting some lovely piccies along the way. Our faves were the Lioness with her cubs, they were just lying there feeling so rpoud of themselves!!!

Cupcakes!

Yummy! Made these on Sunday with a recipe found on the internet. It made 27 huge cupcakes, chocolate flavour with chocolate butter cream frosting. I am waiting on delivery of a baking tray for muffins as I only have one for making small cakes so the paper cases don't really fit in properly. I made Vanilla ones last week and they went down a storm. I am told that these are my best yet - he he he. I seem to be spending my Sunday afternoons making these little beauties, I really enjoy it though, cooking really relaxes me and it is great to see something for your efforts. ciao for now!!

Oh dear!!!

I haven't updated for ages - had a few upsetting events happen, which have sort of taken up my time and which I won't bore you with. I entered the Effer Dares competition but was cut, never mind the whole trying was part of such a process for me as I haven't done any scrapping for ages and it sort of broke my scrappers block if you know what I mean!!

Murphy!

Our new bundle of fur is now called Murphy. He has settled in so well and just loves cuddles. I couldn't believe how good he was with knowing where his litter tray and bed were at that young age! Connor loves him to bits and is always giving him kisses and cuddles, which is so cute!

Oops!!

We got this beautiful bundle of fur yesterday, 7 weeks old and called her Maisie - well I took her to the vet today for a check-up and Maisie is actually a little BOY!!! LOL!! Well now we need to come up with a new name pretty pronto - so any ideas please send them this way!!

Thank goodness it is Friday, I love the weekend and spending time with my 2 men, oh well now make that 3 men!! No plans as yet, although it is the beer festival in Paisley - oh the glamour!! I don't think we will make it this year though. It is the UKS cybercrop this weekend but I don't think I will manage to get much done, although I will download the classes to do at my own snails pace!!

I went to collect Connor from nursery today and he had made this for me - how cute is that? - he is only 3!!!

{Day 3}

Here is Day 3 of Rhonna's challenge, not sure if I am happy with this or not - LOL. I love the colours that she picked, pink and green, I think they complement each other beautifully! The picture quality is not great, my scanner was playing up last night so had to use my camera!

Other stuff - Life has just been coasting a long a bit at the moment, so much going on that I just want to shut the door and hide. We are going to see my grandmother in a couple of weeks for Easter though so that should be great, she hasn't been well, just had a stroke and then a week later a mild heart attack, we have all been so worried for her!

My little man though cheers her up no end!! Isn't he adorable?!

I am totally enjoying this challenge that Rhonna has set, although it is really taking me out of my comfort zone, which is probably a good thing LOL!! Here is my take on Day 2s' quote.

I lurked around on the 1st round and even made my journal but life got in the way and I had to give it a miss. So I am determined to keep up with it this time!!

So much to Kirsty and Kimmy for their lovely comments on my layout. They mean such a lot as lately I have been struggling!! We have been going through such a hard time as a family lately and it is so lovely to know that I can at least do something nearly right!! - anyway enough about that, all the talk of doodling, I would l0ve to share another 2 LO's with you!!

Bad bad blogger ......

Oops - its been a while hasn't it, but the main thing is that nothing has really been happening. We went through to Marks mum in Glasgow this weekend with the intention of going to the SECC for the craft fair. The weather put paid to that though we woke up in Paisley to 5 inches of snow!! I haven't seen snow so deep for years. I of course committed the scrappers cardinal sin of not having my camera - can you believe my baby bear's first experience of snow and first time building a snow man and I couldn't take any photos of it - a total nightmare. So we were stuck at Marks mums whilst the craft fair was going on so I missed all that stash!!! My baby's delight in the snow made up for it though!!

On Friday night before we left I decided to take up the Kirsty Challenge see here http://limegreenbogiegirl.blogspot.com/ and I have attached my entry - I just hope it is good enough, I have no confidence in my scrapping at the moment and the photo was taken in a moment of madness when I set up my tripod for the first time!!

Yay - It's Friday

Job interview went well. Felt good to be back speaking to adults for a while if you know what I mean! Still not sure if I want the job though sounds like it involves a lot of audio typing - YUK!!!

What do you think of my gorgeous little baby bear? isn't he just totally scrumpshious! I love this little guy more than anything!!

Oh-oh.....

..Job interview tomorrow - yikes. I haven't had one for so long, think I have forgotten what to do - LOL! Don't know if I really want the job, but thought the interview process would be good practise anyway, so might as well go along!

I have got my mojo back somewhat anyway and have managed to complete a few layouts. I can't tell you how good it feels to be able to be using some of my stash again!!

Another Day...

another no dollars!! I need to get a job, I have decided! I love my baby bear but I can't stay at home all the time anymore! Every day is the same at the moment. I have applied for 2 part time posts, which would really be ideal, best of both worlds really - so wish me luck!

Well I thought I had better get on with and make a start. I have had this blog for ages and not made any posts, so I though today is as good a day as any!! Conor has been a little darling today and I have had a chance to get on with my A-Z for the Cathy Zieske Encyclopaedia I am working on. I am also hoping to get on with my art journal tonight when he is in bed so wish me luck!!!
