D-Day tomorrow!

Well as the title says I am due tomorrow, but I know that only a very small percentage of babies actually arrive on their due date! I think we are all ready, we have the pram, moses basket etc. just waiting on this little one to come along and join us! I really hope baby arrives before Christmas - I want him/her to have their own birthday if you know what I mean! We had to go for a growth scan last week as I was measuring small for my dates, thankfully everything is fine and it was just because I am tall so baby has more room, everyone is so surprised when I say I am due tomorrow, my bump is quite small and neat. While we were at the scan the sonographer was able to give us a picture of the baby's face, it was amazing to be able to see it. I will try and upload it later. I was at midwife on Monday and she says they will do a sweep this Monday if baby hasn't put in an appearance by then!

I think I am prepared for Christmas, all the presents are bought and wrapped, just got cards to write, but that wont take very long, I want to try and wait so that I can include a photo of the new baby with the cards - will have to wait and see though!

Time flies....

Well it hasn't really felt like that lately it has felt like it was dragging a bit, but when I saw the date of my last post I was a bit shocked!! I am now nearly 36 weeks (on Thursday), so just 4 weeks to go until we meet baby!! I can't wait, we have been buying lots of bits and pieces which we need and will pick up the pram soon. The only problem is the house, it is too small so baby will be in beside us (as it would have been in the beginning anyway) but later on we seriously have no space for a cot!! so we have been house hunting when Mark finishes work at night which isn't ideal as of course it is dark! but I think we have found the one and it is lovely 3 good size bedrooms and a lovely big garden!

I have started back at uni but with these cold, dark nights and being so pregnant I have missed a few lectures, I am trying to keep up though as the notes are usually posted online.

Well just a short update for now but I will try not to leave it so long next time!!

Been dying to share......

I am pregnant!! Baby no.2 is due on 13th December, so I am currently 19 weeks and 5 days. We are all so excited and can't wait to meet the new addition to our family!!

Gosh!

I can't believe how long it has been since I blogged! So much has happened with us. We got married on 30th March - it was a beautiful day and a beautiful ceremony, we all had such a great time, I have put a couple of pictures below to let you see.

The weather was quite cool but it didn't matter one bit. Didn't my men look handsome? Mum and Dad paid for us all to have a meal at a hotel in Gifford called the Goblin Ha' it was lovely and after that we all came back the house to open cards and presents and carry on the celebrations. my brother Stuart and his wife Sarah paid for us to have a night in the George Hotel in George Street, Edinburgh the following night and it was lovely, very posh and a really nice end to our wedding!

Oops - sorry it has been so long!!

Big news though I am getting married on friday (OMG!!) we decided just over 2 weeks ago and have booked everything, got outfits, photographer etc sorted. It is just going to be a small family thing but it is what we both want. We have been together 6 years and have our beautiful boy so we really feel the time is right and everyone is so happy for us!! I had all my hair chopped off today and coloured, it used to be quite long and is now at my jaw line, but I love it. I am doing the flowers with my Mum on Thursday and we are going to get our eyebrows done tomorrow, so it has been a busy week!!

On other news, we were at Connors' parents night tonight, he starts school in August when he will be 4 1/2 and they are delighted with him so far, so we are one proud momma and daddy!!

Toot-Toot me!

Sorry just had to do that - I have just found out that I passed the exams I sat in January - I will complete my Law degree even if some people think I wont!! I have even spent today doing more decluttering - LOL ( Iam the queen of hoarding stuff!) On unhappy news though, my little man hasen't been well this week, he has had a really high temperature and a rash over his body which the GP assures us is viral, although that exact same day we were going around Tesco and he wouldn't stop crying (he is not a crier normally!) and kept squinting saying he had sore eyes and a sore head ( well with the rash as well my mind went into overdrive) I actually gave him Calpol in Tescos car park and 1/2 hour later he was back to normal, I couldn't believe it, as my mum says they are up one minute and down the next!! i just know that I was really worried about my wee man!

Weekend!

What a great weekend we have had, totally decluttered we have, you can just call us the declutter nutters!! I have filled 2 bin bags for the charity shop and 2 for the bucket! It is amazing it feels like a weight has been lifted just getting rid of stuff!!!

Yikes!

Give me a kick up the backside, I have been MIA for far too long, although I do have a good excuse! I have been doing a lot of studying for my exams. I sat Commercial law at the start of January and have had a load of assessments to plough through. Just waiting on results now so fingers (and everything else) crossed!! We had a fabby Christmas and Connor had a blast! I cooked for 12 on New Years Day and really enjoyed it (I must be mad!). I go back to uni this week which I am looking forward to. I think that's a quick update, I must try and at least update once a week!! I will leave you with some recent piccies!
