Loooong time - no post!!!

Well I have decided to stay with blogger as it seems a shame to lose all my old posts so I will redirect the ones I made on Xanga to here. I have loads of news and I will update in a wee while!!

Jeez - it has been so long!

Well - we moved house on 19th April and have just now got our internet connection back (loooong story!) it is amazing how much you miss the internet although prevously I would have said I didn't use it that much!! Connor has just finished his first year at primary school and Amelia is now 6 months old. Connor was a page boy in the local gala and was so handsome in his kilt, he was the smallest boy but definitely the cutest!!! It is amazing how different they both are, she definitely has the red hair temper!!

Chicken Pox

Yikes - Connor had chicken pox in the second week of his Easter Holidays, but seemed to get off quite lightly, he didn't have too many spots and they lasted just a couple of days. Well on Thursday I noticed one spot on Amelia and didn't think much of it as Connor had been well for over a week at this stage, but by the Friday morning she definately had a lot more so we went to the Dr's who said she agreed with me that she had the chicken pox, although apparently it is quite unusual for babies under six months to get it as they still have the protection of their mothers immunity!! Today is Tuesday and she is absolutely covered in spots the poor little thing, she will be 4 months on Sunday and she just seems too small to have all these spots, some of them are very angry and red looking! She seems happy in herself though and is still full of smiles like normal so I don't think the spots are affecting her too much - thankfully! When Connor first saw all her spots he said "Oh my poor baby!", he is so cute with her!

Yikes - what to do!!

I have come across Xanga and don't know whether to stick woth this blog or move, it would be a lot easier to stay here I must admit!!

Amelia Mae Tweedy was born on 22nd December at 00.44 after a 20 minute labour!!! I couldn't believe we had a little girl, she is absolutely gorgeous. I will update with more later.
